- Nessun account e nessuna registrazione.
- Nessun identificativo pubblicitario, nessun profilo, nessuna cronologia remota.

Privacy Policy (English)
Paratia runs on your device. We do not collect your data automatically: we only receive what you choose to send us, after you have seen it.
What stays on the device
The request log, statistics, your rules and the list of protected apps are stored in a local database. They are not copied, synced or sent anywhere, and are removed when you uninstall the app.
What leaves the device during normal operation
- Allowed DNS queries, sent to your network's DNS server — the same one they would reach without Paratia. Paratia does not route them to servers of its own.
- Blocklist downloads from independent public projects (e.g. StevenBlack, EasyPrivacy, Frogeye, Peter Lowe, URLhaus, Dandelion Sprout). This is a plain file request with no identifiers; as with any connection, the hosting server sees your IP address.
No NOVACODE server is involved in the app's operation.
What you may send us
Two features can send data to us, only when you tap the send button:
- Crash report. After an unexpected shutdown the app offers to send the technical report (app and Android version, device model, error trace).
- Diagnostic report (test builds only). It contains operating counters, filter events and the list of protected apps with their counts; domain names are removed from free text before sending.
In both cases the full text is shown to you first and is sent as an email from your own mail app to info@novacode.it. We use it only to fix defects, never share it with third parties, and delete it when no longer needed, at the latest within 12 months. We also receive your email address, since you send from it.
What is not there
- No account, no sign-up.
- No analytics, no automatic telemetry, no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No advertising ID, no profiling, no remote history.
- No sale or transfer of data.
The VPN permission
Android requires VPN consent because it is the mechanism that lets an app filter traffic. Paratia's “VPN” is local: there is no remote server and traffic is not routed elsewhere. Only DNS queries from the apps you choose to protect go through the tunnel; all other traffic is not read, copied or slowed down.
Installed apps
Paratia reads the list of launchable apps so you can choose which ones to protect. The list stays on the device.
Purchases
In the Google Play version, Paratia Pro purchases are handled by Google under its own terms and privacy policy. The app receives confirmation that the licence is active, not your payment details.
Legal basis and your rights
Reports you send are processed on the basis of your consent, given by sending them, and our legitimate interest in fixing the app. Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise them, write to support@paratia.app. Data on the device is under your control: clear it in the app with “Clear the log” or by uninstalling.
Children
Paratia is not intended for users under 18 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date.
