Everything is processed locally. Your traffic is never sent to Paratia's servers.

Open any app's detail to see how many requests it made, how many domains it contacted and what Paratia stopped.
Turn Paratia on for an app. Use it normally. Then come back and see what it found and stopped.
Download Paratia for free and finally see what your apps are doing.
Paratia runs on your device. We don't collect your data because it never reaches us.
The request log, the statistics, the rules you create and the list of protected apps are written to a local database. They are not copied, synchronised or sent anywhere. Uninstall the app and they go with it.
Two things only, both needed to make the filter work:
No NOVACODE server is involved in running the app.
Android asks for VPN consent because that is the mechanism by which an app can see traffic. Paratia's “VPN” is local: there is no remote server, and your traffic never leaves the phone to travel somewhere else. It exists only to route DNS requests past the filter. Only DNS requests go through the tunnel — everything else is neither read, copied nor slowed down.
In the version distributed through Google Play, buying Paratia Pro is handled by Google. The transaction is between you and Google under their terms; we receive confirmation that the licence is active, not your payment details.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data. With Paratia there is nothing to exercise with us, because we hold no data about you. The data on your device is yours to delete — from the app with “Clear the log”, or by uninstalling.

Paratia is a local DNS filter for Android, published by NOVACODE S.R.L.S. By using it you accept the following.
Paratia blocks domain names with a bad reputation — tracking, advertising, malware servers — using public lists. It is a name-based filter, and it has precise limits worth knowing upfront:
If a rewarded ad is blocked, the in-game reward does not arrive. That is intended behaviour, not a defect. Paratia does not simulate ad views, does not generate fake callbacks and does not alter how applications behave internally.
Blocking a domain can make an app that expects it misbehave. The log shows which domain was stopped and when, so you can add an exception. Being a filter, Paratia does not guarantee that every application will keep working exactly as before.
The lists come from third parties and are distributed under open licences. Their contents are not decided by us and can change. If a legitimate domain ends up blocked, you can allow it from the app.
Paratia Free is free with no time limit, with a cap on how many apps can be protected at once. Paratia Pro is bought once, with no subscription, and stays tied to the Google account that bought it. Refunds and restores follow Google Play's terms.
The application is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, NOVACODE S.R.L.S. is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or failure of the filter. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants to consumers.
Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile remain competent.
